What the Foundation does not support

In general the Rockwool Foundation does not support projects / activities which are considered to have the following objectives:
-          Commercial or business-related objectives
-          Party-political objectives
-          Purely educational objectives
-          Church / religious objectives
-          Entertainment objectives
-          Sports and leisure-oriented objectives

The Foundation does not support projects and activities that are not in accordance with the objectives of the Rockwool Foundation (please read the pages about the Foundation).

For example, study tours, scholarships or students travelling abroad are not supported. Nor is the local sports club and its yearly football event – not even if there may be a connection to a project supported by the Foundation. 

Publishing of books which have no relation to the activities of the Foundation is not supported. 

Ph. D scholarships and projects which are mainly research oriented are not supported through the strategic programmes. Applicants are advised to contact Bent Jensen, the Rockwool Foundation Research Unit (bej@rff.dk) for further information about research projects.

Finally other foundations or organizations that support the same projects as the Rockwool Foundation are not supported.
